General Education Quality Assurance Department
Key functions of General Education Quality Assurance Department are:
- Carrying out the authorization and accreditation process in accordance with applicable legal acts, ensuring reliability of the accreditation process and publicizing its results;
- Developing recommendations for development of authorization and accreditation standards and procedures;
- Development and implementation of effective monitoring mechanisms for determination of compliance with authorization and accreditation standards;
- Management and development of experts' corps;
- Preparation of recommendations and guidelines for educational institutions and other stakeholders;
- Cooperation with international organizations regarding the quality assurance issues, developing relevant recommendations and proposals;
- Provision of counseling services to educational institutions and other stakeholders regarding the authorization issues, planning and implementation of supportive measures.
