International Education Department
Key functions of International Education Department are:
- Recognition of education received abroad in accordance with the applicable legislation;
- Communication and coordination with the European Information Centers and National Academic Recognition Network (ENIC-NARIC Network);
- Confirmation of the validity of educational documents issued in Georgia;
- Recognition of education received in Georgia;
- Ensure issuing a vocational diploma / diploma on the basis of document confirming recognition of education;
- Documents issued by the Ministry and other bodies within the system, as well as by educational institutions, to ensure the certification / legalization through the Apostille of documents issued within their competence implementation of the measures provided;
- Production of document turnover, including preparation for transfer of documents to the archives in compliance with the rules established by the relevant legal acts;
- Recognition of documents certifying the education provided by educational institutions of the Apostolic Autocephalous Orthodox Church in accordance with the rules established by the relevant legal acts;
- Verifying the linguistic correctness of a state document certifying education;
- Informing of other structural units and stakeholders of the NCEQE within the competence and organizing and conducting trainings on relevant issues and providing consultations to citizens and applicants as well.
